Regular Users are subject to specific terms and conditions available from the booking secretary

HIRE AGREEMENT: All hirers of the hall must be issued with and sign a hiring agreement and return it to the booking secretary before the commencement of the hire period.

PAYMENT: Payment for all occasional bookings must be made before the commencement of the hire.

DEPOSIT: A damage deposit for all private functions will be required. This shall be returned within 28 days of the hire date unless the hall was not left in accordance with the conditions stated in the hire agreement. See Hiring Rates

CANCELLATION: Cancellation must be notified a minimum of 7 days in advance of the booking. Failure to give the correct notice may result in part or full charge being made.

KEYS: To be collected from and returned to the booking secretary.

UNDER 18's: No bookings are accepted from a person under 18 years of age. Parents or groups with predominantly under 18's present, must be supervised by a person over the age of 21 at all times. At least one adult per 10 young persons is recommended.

LICENSING: It is illegal to sell alcohol on the premises without a licence (See Alcohol Licence). Please consult the booking secretary about the necessary arrangements.

INSURANCE: Check whether you need to be insured (See Insurance).

END OF HIRE: The Hirer shall be responsible for leaving the premises and surrounding area in a clean and tidy condition, properly locked and secured unless directed otherwise and any contents temporarily removed from their usual positions properly replaced, otherwise the Parish Hall shall be at liberty to make an additional charge.

PRIVACY NOTICE:

Lydford on Fosse Parish Hall Committee uses personal data solely for the purposes of managing the hall, its bookings and finances, running and marketing events at the hall and its fundraising activities. We will never share this information with any other organisation. Data may be retained for up to 7 years for accounts purposes and for longer where required by the hall’s insurers.
