SCRAPBAGS: Patchwork and quilting group.

This friendly informal group meets fortnightly on Thursdays from 2.00 to 4.00 PM and welcomes all abilities including complete beginners. Our aim is to develop each member’s proficiency and skills at their own pace so as to produce work of which they can be proud. ROYAL ENFIELD OWNERS CLUB, Somerset and Dorset Branch,

Meeting dates:- The second Monday of each month at 7.30 p.m.

Charges:- There is no charge for entry but admission is restricted to paid up members and guests of the Royal Enfield Owners Club, a national one-make motorcycle club www.royalenfield.org.uk/.

Brief description of activities:-

The branch organises itself for the enjoyment by association of members of the Royal Enfield Owners Club, an organisation that exists for those persons interested in Royal Enfield motorcycles.

Branch activities include meetings, organised visits to places of interest, twice-yearly social evenings, talks given by invited speakers, attendance at club rallies and the organising, construction and manning of the national club's stand at the Bristol Classic Motorcycle Show, held annually at the Royal Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet.

LYDFORD AND DISTRICT GARDENING CLUB

The Lydford & District Gardening Club meets the second Tuesday of each month in Lydford Parish Hall at 7.15 pm. The annual programme includes a variety of speakers, visits and demonstrations. The club is a member of The Gardens Group Gold Club who offer excellent discounts and seeds are also available at discounted prices. The annual membership subscription is £20. THIRD TUESDAY

We are a women's group who meet on the third Tuesday of each month except for August and December. Our programme for the year includes outside speakers, talks and demonstrations by members and social evenings which may feature a quiz or a discussion. All of our meetings are advertised on village notice boards and include time for coffee and a chat among friends.  We meet at 7.30pm and welcome women to all of our meetings and men to those that we think will appeal.
